accept that与accept the fact th

有时见到accept 后接that从句作宾语，有时见到accept 后接the fact that作宾语（the fact是宾语，that从句是同位语从句）。如：
I cannot accept that he is to blame. 我认为不能责怪他。
She wouldn’t accept the fact that she had lost. 她不能接受已经失败这一事实。
请问两者之间有区别吗？哪个更“好”些？
