I am afraid the moutain would break down. The next morning we got up early in order to see the sun rise ______ the east.
rise in the east 还是 rise from the east?
The sun rises from the east The sun rises in the east. 比如下面的句子均摘自词典,均用了 rise from(因为它后面接的是一个相对具体的地点或范围):
Smoke rose from the chimney.
He rose from his chair.
She rose from her seat to speak with us.
A cloud of ash rose from the volcano.
A murmur of excitement rose from the audience.
He rose from his chair and embraced her warmly.
Clouds of spray rose from the sea as it crashed on the rocks.
The sun rises from the east.
The sun rises in the east.
