有这样一个句子,注意句中的too much:
Going on diets too much can result in illnesses.
不太理解句中的go on diets too much中的too much,它是程度状语吗?总觉得用too much来修饰go on diets有点奇怪。感觉可以说talk too much, say too much, drink too much, smoke too much, eat too much, cost too much等,但说go on diets too much也与它们一样“正常”吗?谢谢!
董老师:
Beachy 老师,请问此处为何不用 Going on a diet?
张老师:
go on a diet = go on diets
Often, doctors tell some people to go on diets / go on a diet (节食). The doctors hope the diets will make the people feel better. They hope the diets will make the people healthy. Alana was on a diet, but she didn't like it at all.
