There appears to have been a big storm recently.
这里用的不是 there appears to have 吗?为什么没有用 there appears to be 呢?
▲你的句子没有错,只不过动词 to be 变成了完成式 to have been。又如:
There appears to have been an accident.
There seems to have been a mistake.
There seems to have been a deliberate silence from the newspapers.
There appears to be no danger now.
There appears to be something the matter with her.
There appears to be a problem with the oil pressure.
There seems to be little enthusiasm for your idea.
There seems to be a vogue for Chinese food at present.
There seems to be a mistake in these figures.
