There be与appear搭配使用时是There appears to be，但英语可以说There appears to have吗？

There be 与 appear 搭配使用时是 There appears to be…，意思是“似乎有……”“看来有……”“好像有……”。如：

There appears to be a mistake.  似乎有一个错误。

There appears to be a problem with the oil pressure. 看来是油压出了问题。

There appears to be another outbreak of sickness among seals in the North Sea.  看来北海的海豹又要爆发另一场疾病了。

There appears to be increasing support for the leadership to take a more aggressive stance.  好像有越来越多的人支持领导层采取更为强势的立场。

以上各例中的 to be 不能换成 to have，即：

但英语可以说 There appears to have 吗？回答是肯定的，只不过此时的 have 后应接 been，即此时的have been 仍是 be 的一种变体（即是 be 的完成式）。如：

There appears to have been an accident. 好像出了事故。
