上火车可以用get in the train吗

表示上火车，通常是用 get on the train，如果用 get in the train 可以吗？

如果不可以，有权威的依据吗？比如词典上的依据或语法书上的依据。谢谢！

表示上火车，通常是用get on the train，不用 get in the train；表示下火车，通常是用get off the train，不用 get out of the train；表示在火车上，通常用 on the train，不用 in the train。比如《剑桥高阶英汉双解词典》（第四版英文版）的 train 词条有这样的说明：

Common mistake: train

Remember: choose the correct preposition!

Don’t say ‘get in / into the train’, say get on the train:

I got on the train and sat down. 

To talk about leaving a train, don’t say ‘get out of’, say get off:

You need to get off the train at the last stop. 

During the journey, you are on the train, not ‘in the train’.

(1)get in只表示（火车、公共汽车或飞）到达，抵达 ，不表示上车之意

We would have come straight here, except our flight got in too late.

(2)get on 表示上车之意（比较宽敞的汽车）

She got on the bus and picked a seat up front.

她上了公车，找了个最前面的座位。

He stooped his head to get into the car.

        按照英语惯用，上火车，一般用get on the train，主要是因为火车位置较高，人们可以站立进入。如果是小汽车，则说get in the car， 因为车体往往矮小，人需要低头弯腰才能进入。    但人们经常说get into the train, 尤其是指地铁时。日本英和词典例句：When you get into a commuter train, you see the briefcases neatly stacked on the racks.
