at home 和in the home 区别

我认为：at home 用途更广泛，可用来指“在家”和“国内”且带有感情色彩。而 in the home 只能特指“在家”居住的这个固定的地方。老师您认为呢？

仅就at home表示“在家”这个意义而言，主语只能是某人。因为此时at表示的是某人做某事的地方，如工作、学习、休息、开会、看电影、乘坐飞机等等，暗示某人做某事。如at bank, at school, at home, at a meeting, at lunch, at airport, at the theatre, at war等等。不能说The washing machine is at home. 你提问的句子主语是洗衣机，当然不能用at home了。
