a teacher and poet与a teacher and a poet（第二个冠词的有无）

问题描述

如果指一个人身兼两职，通常只用一个冠词。比如：
He is a teacher and poet. 他是老师，同时也是诗人。
这里的 poet 是没有用冠词的。我的疑问是：这里的后面一个名词前是可以不用冠词还是必须不用冠词？比如下面句是对还是错：

He is a teacher and a poet. 他是老师，同时也是诗人。

The writer and poet was a good friend of hers. 那位作家兼诗人是她的一位好朋友。
