Happy后接不定式的句子很多。比如：

Happy to meet you. 见到你很高兴。

We’re happy to be here. 我们在这里很快活。

Ann will be happy to help you. 安帮助你，会感到高兴的。

He was happy to be among friends again. 他很高兴又回到朋友们中来了。

这些句子的happy后是接不定式的，但在下面的句子中，happy接的是现在分词：

We were very happy to hear of his success. 闻知他的成功，我们非常高兴。

请问：happy后面可以接现在分词吗？若真是这样，它与接不定式有何区别？谢谢！

注意：许多形容词、副词、过去分词作表语时，后面带有不定式作状语，表示产生这种情绪的原因等。常见的这类词有：able, angry, anxious, afraid, clever, determined, eager, fit, foolish, cruel, glad, lucky, sorry, pleased, ready, willing, happy, shocked, fortunate, surprised, disappointed, free, sure, pround, careful, delighted等。再例：
You are sure to succeed.
I am glad to meet you again.
