as befits the work of right-handed artists， 是as引导的非限制性定语从句，修饰整个主句的内容；后面的who...又是一个定语从句，修饰artists。

定语从句就是定语从句，不是插入语。这是两个不同的成分。

【注意】插入语是一种独立的成分，跟句子的其他成分没有修饰关系。如：What do you think he is doing? do you think 为插入语，去掉后不影响句子的意思。
