不清楚这是“汉译英”还是“英译汉”？如果是后者，那么，我认为汉译不够准确。

我根据英文句子重新翻译一下：

“一位母亲买者，在受到女儿考试失利的困扰之后，想让陈潇扮成熊猫，前来拜访她女儿并鼓励她努力学习。”

▲英语的call in on 是个固定词组，意为“拜访；看望”，宾语一般是“人”，不是“打电话”。其中in是副词，on是介词。例如：
