在书上见过 family 与 home 的区别，说 family 指家里的人，home 指居住的家，house 指居住的房子。但从未见到过 family home 连在一起用的，但有这样一个句子：
The box of papers had been stored in a cellar at the family home. 那箱文件一直藏在家中的地窖里。
请问这个 family home 用得对吗？它与单独用的 home 有什么区别呢？谢谢！

family home 虽然在平时的阅读中见得不多，但它是一个很地道的表达。归纳起来，family home有以下三个用法：
▲指家（与home的意思相同）

补充：family home 可以同 home 一样指家庭成员所居住的环境。Orphanage is not like a family home as you know; I got a roof over my head and some food , that ' s all , of course I had to do work as I grew older 孤儿院不是像你所知道的家那样的，我头上有个屋顶也有食物(不必受风吹雨打与饥饿) ，就只那样了，当然当我长大些时我就得做工了。 (引自网络)
