go over it还是go it over

If they don’t understand it the first time, go over it again until they do. 如果他们第一次未弄懂，就给他们再讲，直到他们弄懂为止。

句中怎么是用go over it而不是用go it over呢？我的意思是我们不是要用turn it over, think it over吗？难道这个go over与turn over, think over不一样？请老师们解答，谢谢！

这里的go over，无论接名词还是代词，一律放在over之后。原因是，go是不及物动词，不能直接跟宾语。

你说的turn it over, think it over中，turn和think是及物动词，over是副词。这时，名词或代词都可放在中间无妨。
