要表示“上学”,习惯上是不用冠词的,如 go to school。
但是,若表示“上幼儿园”呢?是说 go to kindergarten 还是说go to the kindergarten?要不要冠词呢?谢谢!
蒋老师:
▲应该用 go to kindergarten,而不是 go to the kindergarten。
▲关于这个问题 Longman Dictionary of Common Errors (New Edition) 有这样一段说明:
Use the / my etc only when you are talking about a particular school:
She goes to a very good school.
Our two boys go to the same school.
When you refer to school as a type of place or activity, use leave school, start school, go to school, etc (WITHOUT the / my etc):
Most children go to primary school at the age of five.
The same rule applies to kindergarten, college, university, church, prison, jail and (in British English but not American English) hospital.
▲同时 Longman Dictionary of Common Errors (New Edition) 在说到 between 的用法时有这样一个例句:
× Children between three to five go to kindergarten.
√ Children between three and five go to kindergarten.
