inscription与script的区别

The writing system is supposed to begin with oracle bone inscriptions, the most advanced script in ancient China, and they are regarded as the embryonic form of Chinese characters. Afterwards, Chinese characters went through numerous calligraphic styles such as Bronze Inscriptions, Seal Script, Regular Script, Cursive script, Running Script, etc.
