(1) She was stalked by a jilted exboyfriend.
(2) Police want to interview her jilted lover.
(1) He fostered an abandoned child.
(2) We found an abandoned car.
(3) An abandoned village lies under the water of the reservoir.
(4) The road is strewn with abandoned vehicles.
(5) They stopped beside a battery of abandoned guns.
(6) There’s only the mountain in this direction, and higher up an old ruin, an abandoned castle.
