◆when引导的是副词性从句，充当动词 be 的时间附加语（时间状语），是动词短语的一部分，表达的是高兴的时间，整句可以移至句首。

1. I'll be glad when the whole business is over and done with. 等整件事情结束了我就高兴了。(= When the whole business is over and done with, I'll be glad.)

2. I'll be glad when the war is over. 等战争结束了我就高兴了。(= When the war is over, I'll be glad.)
