老师您好，as soon as 表示“一...就...”引导时间状语从句，如果从句表示将来发生的动作，则用一般现在时，而主句用一般将来时。即，主将从现。我遇到一句话，是这样写的：
As soon as he opens the gate from the outside, he comes into the garden and waits until the gate shuts.
这句说中，从句用的一般现在时，而主句并没有用一般将来时，是为什么呢？
难道说 as soon as 引导的从句用一般现在时也并非一定是表示将来吗？

1. 主句用一般将来时。如：
I’ll tell him as soon as I see him. 我一见到他就告诉他。
We’ll go just as soon as this weather lets up. 天气一好转，我们就出发。
We shall let you know as soon as there’s any news. 一有消息，我们就告诉你。
2. 主句用一般现在时。如：
I pay my money into the bank as soon as I get paid. 一发工资我就把钱存入银行。
3. 主句含有情态动词。如：

(1)主句（一般将来时态）+AS SOON AS +从句（过去时）
I will tell her the good news as soon as she comes back.
(2)主句（一般现在 时态）+AS SOON AS +从句（一般现在）
My family always go somewhere interesting as soon as winter holiday comes
(3)主句（一般过去）+AS SOON AS +从句（一般过去）
I gave her the letter as soon as she came back.
(4)主句（含有情态动词+行为动词原形复合谓语）+AS SOON AS +从句（一般现在时态）
You must give it to her as soon as she comes back.
(5)主句（祈使句）+AS SOON AS +从句（一般现在时态）
Remember to call me as soon as you arrive in Beijing.
